The modern woman's Swiss Army Knife, the term multi-purpose doesn't begin to describe the complexities of our legendary Velvet Bronzing Makeup Base. This little pot of brilliance hydrates, contours, adds definition, shades and gives a beautiful, warm Tuscan glow to your complexion all from the palm of your hand. It's every woman's secret - a handbag essential - and will take you winter to summer, day to night with just a few dabs of your fingertips. Take a breather from your complication beauty repertoire and use ONE revolutionary product to:
For a light, even finish, always apply bronzer with a clean brush.
Don’t overload your brush - remove any excess onto the back of your hand.
Make sure you blend bronzers down to your neck area - don’t stop at your jawline. Your neck is always paler than your face because your chin shades it from the sun. You can also take it down and across your décolletage.
Less is more – you can build up the colour to create the most natural look.
Be careful when applying bronzer around your jawline. Don’t overdo it or you’ll look as if you have a 5 o'clock shadow.
Apply directly onto cleansed skin or straight on top of your LB Cream or foundation and blend well. Use a soft brush to apply Velvet Bronzing Makeup Base. Start by placing the brush under your cheekbone and gently blend up into the temples and towards the hairline. Buff lightly and allow the bristles to blend to suit your features and give your face dimension and shape.
For a natural finish, apply lightly wherever the sun would naturally catch your skin – on cheeks, across your forehead and lightly down the bridge of your nose.
Add The illuminator on cheekbones to create a subtle dewy finish.
Apply underneath LB Cream or foundation as a makeup base under cheekbones and blend well with a soft brush.
Apply LB Cream over the top to tone down the bronzer to suit your skin tone and perfect your look.
Mix Velvet Bronzing Makeup Base with a small dab of your daily moisturiser to lighten the colour to match your skin tone.
Apply Velvet Bronzing Makeup Base over foundation to add colour, brighten your complexion and to give skin a boost. Finish with a powder to set your look if preferred.
If using a concealer, mix a little with the excess bronzer from the back your hand. This will make sure everything matches.
One way to perfect your application is to follow this simple technique.
Using a soft blending brush and looking in the mirror, begin on the left hand side of your face at your forehead.
Draw an E shape – forehead, under cheekbones and along the jawline.
Switch to the right hand side of your face.
Draw the number 3 - forehead, under cheekbones and along the jawline.
Blend well for an even, flawless finish.
