Postcard my beauty case.
As we are launching The Base Pop-Up Stores in Australia this week I am back for a little visit. And it’s good to be back in a beautiful Australia, especially in spring. Even though I am only here for a short time, I had to pack my cosmetic bag for multi-purposes – think: flight mode, hectic work days and of course, for the pop-up events.
I am very into a simple look at the moment, almost as simple as possible. I even skip the mascara most days for the purpose to go all in on establishing a good base and luster. So I brought my favorite make up staples. Products I basically use everyday and I bet you have seen many of them before. Even though I don’t want repeat myself, I am the kind of person that if I find a product I like and hold on tight to that one. So here we go guys!
The Base LB Cream, which contains SPF 15, and sun protection is nearly a must for me nowadays. The Base Shimmer Skin Illuminator, it's the perfect highlight, it almost ‘melts’ together with the skin’. GIORGIO ARMANI luminous silk foundation for those nights i want a little more coverage. I am also hooked on ORIBE at the moment. The products I am using from them are DRY Texturizing Spray and APRES BEACH Wave and Shine Spray – they are my newest hair product obsessions... The Shu Uemuna Eye Lash Curler, my makeup bag is never without it. RMS Beauty cream eye shadows, in seduce and Buriti Bronzer, which i use on my eyes only, a tone I have been looking for ages. I also use the lip2cheek tints from RMS in colour smile! I love Rae Morris magnetic brushes, perfect for travelling with. I also travel with a few different types/textures of concealers, depending on whats going on with my skin. My new favourite is from Illumnare which is a great for covering spots or pigmentation, the YSL Touché Éclat is a cult favorite among many women everywhere and the Shu Uemura Cover Crayon concealer. La Mer lip balm. YSL VOLUME EFFET FAUX CILS in rich brown. NARS bronzing powder in laguna. And of course, my brow gel from Bobbi Brown that I can’t live without.
I have also added my favourite scent Bois d'Argent by Christian Dior, which i have worn for over 5 or more years now. This is a mens fragrance, but in terms of it being masculine or feminine, I would confidently say that this lies directly in the middle being a perfect example as a unisex fragrance.
