Women you most admire?
Women who go against the grain, stay humble, and who are unashamedly themselves. Mostly women I work with who are also my friends: Nicole Warne, Karla Clarke, Alison Rice, Lauren Davis, Zanita Whittington, Alyce Tran, CJ Hendry, Faith Campbell, Emma Kalfus, you. I also look up to Nicholette Wise, who is a friend from my hometown - she’s an incredible Mum, wife, friend, runs her own business – she’s a force, very real, and together. I’m constantly checking in with her as a moral compass.
Biggest inspiration for beauty?
Carolyn Bessette Kennedy
Your beauty advice?
Natural is best, except for when it comes to tanning: faux is better.
Advice you would give the next generation of women?
Stolen from Meryl Streep: “The formula of happiness and success is just, being actually yourself, in the most vivid possible way you can.”
What qualities in women inspire you? Drive, fearlessness, irreverence, confidence, passion.
I look for inspiration in? All the usual: art, design, architecture, film and travel. But probably more than anything, people & conversation. I’ve done the Myer Brigg test several times and I score 90%+ in extroversion every time! People, communication, connection, and energy exchange is everything to me.

Point of difference.
Work you are most proud of?
I guess I am always striving to be better. That said, I’m really proud to work with the photographers, stylists, writers, and talent that I do, on TOMBOY Beauty creating shit, that rivals publications that aren’t independent.
